Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) includes various aspects, starting from planning, actual coding, organizing team development to continues value delivering and, of course, continuous testing, feedback management and quality assuring. Obviously, without having this all in place, delivering high quality product to our customers in the given timeframe is just impossible. Meanwhile such a complex infrastructure requires powerful toolset with number of different solutions, like task management, source repository and control, CI/CD, manual test management, automated testing engines and so on and so forth. Additional problem is integrating these all various tools to one ALM solution. Here is where Microsoft’s cloud becomes indispensable. It provides out of box solutions and tools to solve all these problems and even more.
During our session we are going to step by step setup a ready-to-use DevOps infrastructure for controlling entire process of ALM from agile development to automated CI/CD and testing. Moreover, we will learn fundaments of cloud, see different options of web application deployment difference between IaaS and PaaS, etc.
Participants can expect getting enough theoretical and practical knowledge, to setup their own Dev&Test environment and become familiar with technology of the future – Cloud.
